Maple Bacon Sweet Potato Hash Recipe
This bacon and maple sweet potato puree is a delicious sweet and appetizing formula. It's the perfect side dish for breakfast, informal breakfast or dinner significantly!
ingredients
- 4 cups bite-size sweet potatoes, 2 to 3 medium sweet potatoes
- 1 lb bacon cut into small pieces
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon pure maple syrup
Instructions
- Add the bacon to a large skillet and turn the heat to medium.
- Cook the bacon, stirring occasionally, until cooked and starts to get crispy - about 5 to 15 minutes depending on the thickness of the bacon.
- Using a slotted spoon, remove the bacon from a plate lined with paper towel and set aside.
- Drain the bacon fat carefully except 2 tablespoons of the pan and return to the top of the pan.
- Add the diced sweet potatoes to the pan and sprinkle with cinnamon.
- Cook until sweet potatoes for 10-15 minutes, stirring frequently, or until tender with fork.
- Mix the cooked bacon in the sweet potatoes and drizzle the maple syrup over it.
